New bands legend Glen Campbell passed away at 81.

The singer and guitarist had endured from Alzheimer’s recently, NBC News reported.

“It’s using the heaviest of hearts that people announce the passing in our beloved husband, father, grandfather,” Campbell’s family stated inside a statement published on his website. No reason for dying was handed.

Campbell, the boy of the Arkansas sharecropper, had numerous hits, including “Rhinestone Cowboy,” “Gentle on my small Mind,” “Wichita Lineman,” and “Galveston.”
